ARC LICO served as the Heritage and Architectural Conservation Specialist for the Nutrition Center of the Philippines (NCP) Building in Taguig City, under the Metro Manila Subway Project (MMSP) Phase I. Commissioned as a sub-consultant, ARC LICO undertook a comprehensive Heritage Impact Assessment (HIA) and developed a Conservation Management Plan (CMP) to guide the future treatment of the historically significant structure.
The scope of work involved extensive archival research, historiographical analysis, on-site documentation, and condition assessments. Through this, ARC LICO identified the construction timeline, architectural typology, and historical relevance of the NCP building, while also determining its role within the broader urban and socio-political context of Metro Manila’s post-war development. The CMP outlined heritage values, significance levels, allowable interventions, and long-term conservation strategies
