Valenzuela City is transforming Dr. Pio Valenzuela's submerged ancestral home into a museum, commemorating his 150th birth anniversary.
The City Government of Valenzuela commemorated the 150th birth anniversary of Dr. Pio Valenzuela in 2019. Recognizing the need for a dedicated shrine and museum in honor of the esteemed revolutionary and community leader Dr. Valenzuela, the City Government aims to transform the presently-submerged Valenzuela residence, a marked site by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP); into the Museo ni Dr. Pio Valenzuela., reconstructing the pre-war heritage house according to the original layout, using a hybrid of new and existing materials recovered from the post-war house.
